Abstract:
To provide a bending die for a vehicle member part in which spring back, warp or the like generated in a vertical wall part having an approximately hat cross section are dissolved all over the vertical wall part, and deformation of the vertical wall part after the bottom dead point is effectively avoided without using a die cushion device of a press machine with a locking mechanism.SOLUTION: A bending die for a vehicle member part comprises: a lower die including a lower die punch, a lower die cushion, and a lower die cushion compression part; and an upper die including a pad, a pad compression part, and an upper die bending blade. The lower die cushion includes a projection forming part which is projected to plate outside with respect to a vertical wall molding part, and the upper die bending blade includes a recess forming part which compresses a steel plate in conjunction with the projection forming part. When the upper die comes down just before the bottom dead point, a step shape part is formed by the projection forming part and the recess forming part at the bottom edge of the vertical wall part, and then the upper die comes down, while the step shape part is held, to the bottom dead point. A pad push-up control device includes a pad push-up part and an operation part so that a clearance between the lower die cushion and the pad is held to be the clearance thereof at the bottom dead point or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
