PURPOSE: To provide a bending machine of a metallic bar for can body chute, in which the metallic bar can precisely and efficiently be bent without needing skillness.

CONSTITUTION: The main constitution of the bending machine is one pair of dies 20, 21 having holes for inserting the metallic bar C, respectively and driving in the diameter direction at the one side of holes, the first chuck mechanism 26 passed through each hole of one pair of dies 20, 21 by holding the metallic bar C and shifting in the axial direction and the rotating mechanism for rotating the metallic bar C held with the first chuck mechanism 26 around the axial line thereof by rotating the first chuck mechanism 26. The metallic bar C is passed through the holes in the state that each hole of one pair of dies 20, 21 has the same axis, and under this condition, the movable side die 21 is shifted and each of the holes is made eccentric with each other and the metallic bar C is shifted in the axial direction with the first chuck mechanism 26 in the condition of rotating the metallic bar C with the rotating mechanism.
