PURPOSE: To form the bend being bent in different directions without turning over the reinforcing iron bar, by installing the machanism to restrain the revolution of each of coupled rollers.

CONSTITUTION: The roller 8a is fixed by pushing the center shaft 6a of the revolution restraining mechanism 4a into the hole 9 of the roller 8a by the hydraulic ram 7a; and another roller 8b is made free. If the gear 15 is turned in the direction C by the hydraulic motor 16, the revolution is caused in the direction A. The gear 14b of the free roller 8b rolls on the gear 14a while turning in the direction D, and makes the free roller 8b to rotate on its axis and to revolve in the direction A. Accordingly, the reinforcing iron bar 10 is bent so as to wind around the stationay roller 8a. Next, the free roller 8b is returned to the initial position, and the reinforcing iron bar 10 is sent to the specified distance by the feed mechanism. During this period, the roller 8b is fixed by the revolution restraining mechanism 4b, the roller 8a is made free, and the center roller is replaced with the revolving roller. Then, the gear 15 is turned in the direction C, and the reinforcing iron bar 10 is bent by the free roller 8a so as to wind around the stationary roller 8b.
