To provide a bending machine by which bending is performed smoothly in a process in which a tube is bent along the outer peripheral part of a roll.
The bending machine is composed of: a first fixture member 22 for holding one end portion of a long-sized workpiece 20; a second fixture member 24 for holding the other end portion of the workpiece 20; a first rack 30 which is mounted along the length direction of the first fixture member 22; a roll-shaped bending die 21 mounted to the second fixture member 24 and for bending the workpiece 20 along the outer peripheral surface of the die 21; a pinon gear 26 which is mounted concentrically with the bending die 21, has the radius of a pitch circle which is equal to the bend radius of the workpiece 20 and engaged with a first rack 30; and a connecting member 27 for connecting the first fixture member 22 and the second fixture member 24 in the state that they are relatively rotatable so that the pinion gear 26 is movable along the rack 30 while engaged with the rack 30.
