To provide a bending machine capable of applying bending work to an end of a metal plate without causing creases and accordingly achieving improvement of production efficiency since correction work for correcting the creases of the end is not required.
The bending machine includes a metal plate mounting part 2 for mounting and supporting a metal plate W, a carriage 4 which can move relative to the metal plate mounting part 2, at least two robots 7a and 7b disposed to the carriage 4 movably in the direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the carriage 4, at least two high-frequency heating heads 6a and 6b supported by the respective robots 7a and 7b, and a control device 8. Based on process data, the metal plate W is bent by heating and cooling at a predetermined position from both sides based on the process data on the metal plate W.
