PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain laser light having a narrow stable spectral line width so that the wave surface of the laser light may be corrected by providing supporting mechanisms which respectively support both end sections of a reflection-type wavelength selecting element and a pressing mechanism which presses the central part of the wavelength selecting element from the backside.
SOLUTION: When a moving block 28 is moved toward a grating 9 by turning the knob 26 of a micrometer 25, the front face of the grating 9 can be deformed in the projecting direction, because a pressing force F is applied to the central part of the grating 9 from the backside through a spring 30 and a moving block 29. Therefore, fine wave-surface adjustment can be made by adjusting the pressing force F to an arbitrary value. In addition, since the grating 9 is supported by supporting members 21 and 23 at four corners by avoiding the central parts 31 at the left and right end sections on the front face of the grating 9, the grating 9 can be supported without sacrificing the resolution the grating 9 itself has.
