PURPOSE: To bend the pipe excellently, by carrying out meandering bending of the pipe by detecting the inclination of bending head and revising successively at the bending apparatus providing a pair of roller and bending head facing alterately.

CONSTITUTION: The roller 4 attached on the movable guide 5 of each bending head 2, 2', 50 freely rotatable, is advanced at a constant speed by the DC motor 11' and the pipe 1 is pressed and bended in a fixed radius relating with the die 3 and bending part of the pipe 1 is pressed in rectangular direction against the sliding rail 12. Right end of the pipe is made in free state without restriction at the end head 2' and the rotating part 2" is moved rotating around the axis 61 against the fixing part 2''' when bending time compression force or stretching force, is acted on the pipe 1 between the head 2' and the next bending head 50. The above rotating movement quantity is detected by the detector 53 and is sent to the output control apparatus 54. Then, a fixed feedback quantity is given to the DC motor 15' and each head 2, 2', 50 are moved and operation is carried out so as to be made rotating movement quantity of the head 2' zero. Bending of the pipe is carried out by the above series of operation.
