PURPOSE: To obtain a new benzene derivative having strong suppressing actions on blood platelet aggregation and antithrombin actions based on the antagonistic actions on fibrinogen receptors as a mechanism and useful as a preventing and a therapeutic agents for various diseases in which the blood platelet aggregation participates.

CONSTITUTION: The compound of formula I [X is O or NH; Y is an aromatic ring; (n) is 1-6], e.g. tris(4-amidinophenyl) 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate trihydrochloride. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II (Z is OH or a halogen) (e.g. 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid chloride) with a compound of formula III (e.g. 4-amidinophenol hydrochloride), as necessary, in the presence of a base or a condensing agent.
