To provide a beveling machine mounting method for mounting a beveling machine at the end of a pipe material, while the axis of the end of the pipe material is matched with that of a rotating part.
The beveling machine mounting method is provided for mounting a body 51 of a beveling machine 2 having a rotating part 53 rotatable around an axis C7 with respect to the body 51 to the end T1 of the pipe material T. The method includes: an arrangement step of arranging an inner circumferential surface of a casing 11 in an outer circumference of a pipe material while being opposed to an outer circumferential surface of an end of the pipe material, and also arranging an outer circumferential surface of an inner circumferential side roller 12 in the inner circumference of the pipe material while abutting the outer circumferential surface of the roller 12 on the inner circumferential surface of the pipe material; a correction step of correcting the outer circumferential surface of the pipe material into a shape of the inner circumferential surface of the casing by applying a press-contact force between the inner circumferential surface of the casing and the outer circumferential surface of the pipe material thereby plastically deforming the end of the pipe material, and also by relatively rotating the pipe material and the inner circumferential side roller around the axis of the pipe material; and a mounting step of mounting a beveling machine to the casing in such a manner that the axis of the casing is matched with that of the rotating part of the beveling machine.
