A ring-shaped upper support part 6 almost closely contacting the outer circumferential surface of a can A is formed on the inner circumferential surface near an upper end opening 5 of a beverage container holder 1 formed in a bottomed cylinder that allows the can A to be inserted thereinto from the upper end opening 5. The intermediate part 7 in the direction of the center of the cylinder of the beverage container holder 1 is so arranged that the inner circumferential surface thereof faces the outer circumferential surface of the can A as spaced by a clearance 8 with a specified width. A lower support part 9 almost closely contacting the outer circumferential surface of the can A is formed on the inner circumferential surface near the bottom part of the holder. An upward projecting part 11 is formed on a bottom wall 10 and a vent hole 12 is formed on the projecting part 11 at a position higher than the top surface 10a of the bottom wall 10.
