To provide a beverage container which suppresses the flowing in of dust and dirt into the inside or the decrease of the hot-keeping effect by making the opening area of a tap freely openable/closable, and at the same time, enables the opening/closing of the opening area of the tap to be provided by a simple operation, and, is excellent in the hygienic field as well.

This beverage container has a main body section which stores a liquid, a lid, and a lever. The lid is constituted by having a top board on which a through hole is formed, and a peripheral wall surrounding the outer peripheral section of the top board, and at the same time, is freely detachably connected with the main body section. The lever is equipped with an dogleg shape as the whole for which a through hole covering section for covering the through hole, and a grip section to be gripped by a user are bent at a specified angle at a bending section, and at the same time, of which the bending section is freely removably and freely rockably fastened to a region of the peripheral wall of the lid.
