PURPOSE: To weave multilayered thick three-dimensional woven fabric, by arranging yarn feeding devices of laterally sending yarns by rotation of screw shafts whose spiral grooves are engaged with yarns at multiple stage and displacing a great number of arranged bias yarns in the width direction of weaving.
CONSTITUTION: Yarn feeding devices consisting of a pair of two screw shafts are arranged at an upper and a lower two stages, screw shafts 30A, 30B and 31A are laid at operation positions, a shaft 31B at a backward moving position, bias yarns B are engaged with spiral grooves 30a of the shafts 30A and 30B at the upper and the middle stages, the shafts 30A, 30B and 31A are rotated in the same direction, the bias yarns B engaged with the shaft 30A are transferred to the right, the bias yarns B engaged with the shaft 30B are moved to the left and delivered successively to the lower screw shafts. When the bias yarns B engaged with the upper shaft 30A are completely consumed, the shaft 30A is retreated to the backward moving position, a supporting member is revolved, the shafts 30B and 31B are made in a vertically arranged state, the shafts 30B, 31A and 31B are rotated in the same direction in the similar way, the above-mentioned processes are repeated and the bias yarns B are laterally sent to form the bias yarn layer of three-dimensional woven fabric.
