PURPOSE: To surely prevent generation of a crack by forming an inner cylinder liner of which the external form of a biaxial formed part provided with communicated screw holes is formed into a cylindrical shape out of ceramics material, and holding the inner cylinder liner into an outer cylinder made of metal by mean of shrinkage fit.
CONSTITUTION: An inner cylinder 1 formed into a cylindrical hollow shape out of SAIALON ceramics is held into an outer cylinder 2 made of metallic material by means of shrinkage fit. Before the shrinkage fit, the inner face of the outer cylinder is treated with Cr plating, and further a process to arrange BN powder between both materials as lubricant is carried out. At using it as a biaxial cylinder, detents are arranged on both end parts, and a cylindrical pin 3 is inserted therein and fixed. At this time, sharp parts of ceramics are roundly worked so as to perform a brakage preventing countermeasure. Consequently, because the inner layer liner is made of ceramics and the outer cylinder part is held with a ceramics compound part so as to constitute the biaxial cylinder, tensile stress generated in the inner part at the use, or crack of the liner due to a screw rotation shock can be prevented.
