Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base film which is uniform in wettability of the film surface and excellent in blocking resistance of the film roll and enables high-quality printing.SOLUTION: A biaxially oriented polyester film meets conditions (1) to (3). (1) At least the surface of one side of the film has an abundance ratio O/C of oxygen atoms O to carbon atoms C of 0.420-0.430, measured by X-ray electron spectroscopy(XPS); (2) the three-dimensional surface roughness SRa of the surface meeting the condition (1) is 10-30 nm; and (3) the thickness of the film is 1.5-6 μm.
