To provide an oriented polyester film which retains practical characteristics without loss of heat resistance, perfume retention and water resistance characteristics of oriented polyester films, has good twisting properties and is useful as a packing film.

The film is made of a composition comprising 56-75 wt.% of polyethylene terephthalate, 5-30 wt.% of a polyester and/or a copolymerized polyester having a glass transition temperature of 35°C or higher and 10-30 wt.% of a polyester and/or a copolymerized polyester having a glass transition temperature of 34°C or lower.
