Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL luminescence insert molding having satisfactory durability of an EL luminous unit without leakage or attenuation of LE luminescence.
SOLUTION: A character or a symbol is formed by a screen printing method on a base film 1 formed with a transparent conductive film on one surface of a polyethylene terephthalate film, and a fluorescent layer containing zinc sulfide, an insulating layer made of acrylic resin and a back surface electrode containing carbon are sequentially formed to form a design layer having an EL luminescent unit 2. An adhesive layer 4 is formed by screen printing by using polyacrylic resin to cover the entire surface of the design layer to obtain an EL insert film in which the unit 2 becomes a protrusion 7. This EL luminescence insert molding is molded by placing the EL insert film in an injection mold, closing the mold, injecting molding resin in a cavity, thereby integrating an injection molding 6 with the EL insert film.
