Abstract:
To provide a position detecting device for a bicycle which does not invite the reduction of usability such that pedals become hard to push, and in addition, can be post-installed onto general bicycles as well, and the bicycle.
A position detecting device 23 equipped with a transmitting terminal which transmits a signal regarding positional information is arranged between a basket 15 and a fender 14 for a front wheel 13. Thus, troubles such that the pedals 1 become hard to push do not occur. Also, since generally, there is a vacant space between the basket 15 and the fender 14, the position detecting device 23 can be retrofitted, and installation on general bicycles become possible as well.
