Abstract:
The invention relates to a bicycle wheel rim (10), comprising a radially outer portion (12) configured to be coupled with a bicycle tyre and a radially inner portion (14) comprising a plurality of attachment holes (16) for respective spokes. The radially inner portion (14) of the rim (10) comprises opposite side walls (14a, 14b) and a bottom wall (14c) in which said plurality of holes (16) is formed. Such a bottom wall (14c) is configured to house, at at least some of said holes (16), respective perforated inserts (18) for holding the head of said spokes. The radially inner portion (14) of the rim (10) also comprises a first discontinuity of curvature (14d, 14e) that separates at least one of said side walls (14a, 14b) from said bottom wall (14c).
