To provide an easily or immediately adjustable bicycle stem.
A bicycle stem 20 includes a steering tube clamp 22 having a bore for receiving a steering tube 11 and a pair of parallely separated arms, each of the clamp arms 25A and 25B having a slender slot 27A at a distal end. An extended part 23 includes a proximate end receivable between the clamp arms 25A and 25B and a bore 41 horizontally extending through the proximate end. During use, a pin 34 extends through the slender slot of each arm, and extends through the bore of the extended part to fix the extended part to the steering tube clamp. To prevent rotation of the extended part with respect to the used clamp, a pin slot and the bore are nonrotatably engaged. To adjust reaching of the extended part, the pin is selectively movable in the slot in the longitudinal direction.
