Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve efficiency to a great extent by a method wherein a motor to drive a fan is formed of a brushless direct current motor, a motor and a stator are both wound with a thick wire of substantially the same thickness and part of exhaust is returned to the vicinity of a suction port.
CONSTITUTION: The title vacuum cleaner is of circulation type in which exhaust of a fan 28 driven by a fan motor 23 is partly returned to the vicinity of a suction port, so that the energy of the returned exhaust is utilized for detaching off of dirts and dust. In this fan motor 23, a rotor and a stator are both wound with a wire of substantially the same thickness. In this instance, the thickness is one which satisfies safety current concentration for stationary wound electromagnetic instruments or thicker than that. Further, the rotor is formed of a brushless direct current motor. A direct current power source for the direct current motor is the commercial power source. The direct current from the commercial power source is rectified and then supplied to the fan motor 23 through a reel 22 and a code 29. Thus, power efficiency can be improved to a great extent.
