Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle equipped with an aux. power motive, which is furnished with a side body capable of being mounted on board and permits a person in care of the handicapped to cycle around in accompaniment with the handicapped for a short distance of things to do, walk, shopping, etc., while the handicapped is seated on a wheelchair.
SOLUTION: A side wheel 10 is installed in a relative positioning to the rear axle of a bicycle, and between them a frame 7 is installed, whereon a side body 14 is mounted so that a slope 17 is formed for elevating and sinking of a wheelchair 5 onto/from the side body 14. A detent rod is provided on the side body 14 to engage the wheelchair, and the handicapped is secured to the side body with a safety band, and at the time of stopping, the seating chair 29 for the person in care of handicapped is accommodated in the side body.
