Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle equipped with a pedal and a saddle, which is improved in flexibility of design with respect to arrangement of a swing arm or a rear suspension and a battery.SOLUTION: A battery box is mounted on a vehicle body frame. A rear wheel is arranged at a rear side of the vehicle body frame. A swing arm is arranged to be swingable in a vertical direction of a vehicle relative to the vehicle body frame. The swing arm supports the rear wheel. A rear suspension connects the vehicle body frame to the swing arm. The swing arm and the rear suspension are provided to be swingable around a swing shaft line extending in a lateral direction of the vehicle. At least part of a side of the battery box is formed along a virtual plane perpendicular to the lateral direction of the vehicle. A center of gravity of the battery box is positioned between a front end and a rear end of a saddle in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle when viewed from the lateral direction of the vehicle. The at least part of the side of the battery box overlaps with a swing range of the swing arm or the rear suspension when viewed from the lateral direction of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
