Abstract:
To provide one group of bicyclic heteroaryl substitution 6-alkylidene-penems which have beta-lactamase inhibiting properties and antibacterial properties.
The present invention provides a compound shown by formula (I), pharmaceutical compositions and the use thereof for the treatment of bacterial infection or disease in a patient in need thereof. In the formula, one of A and B denotes hydrogen and the other an optionally substituted fused bicyclic heteroaryl group; and X is O or S; R5 is H, C1-C6 alkyl, C5-C6 cycloalkyl, or CHR3OCOC1-C6 alkyl; R3 is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, C5-C6 cycloalkyl, an aryl which may be substituted, or a heteroaryl which may be substituted.
