Abstract:

To provide a compound having a MGAT inhibition effect useful as pharmaceuticals, or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof, and to provide a pharmaceutical composition containing the same.

A bicyclic pyrimidine compound represented by the formula (I) or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof is provided. In the formula (I), R¹ represents a lower alkyl group which may be substituted and the like, R² represents a hydrogen atom and the like, R³ represents a hydrogen atom and the like, R⁴ and R⁵ represent each independently a hydrogen atom and the like, X represents an oxygen atom and the like, Y represents -N(R⁹)Z- and the like, where R⁹ represents a hydrogen atom and the like, Z represents an oxygen atom and the like, m represents 1 and n represents 2.
