Abstract:

To provide a bidet capable of making compatible the hardness of adherence of dirt and sewage thereto with the visual confirmation of the degree of contamination and advantageous for drying.

This bidet 1 comprises: a base 2 mounted at the rear of a toilet bowl; a movable nozzle 3 attached to the base 2 and having a nozzle hole for jetting washing water toward the private part of a human body; and a nozzle operating part 4 for selectively changing the position of the movable nozzle 3 to a forward position advanced diagonally forward-downward which is used during the washing or to a retreated position retreated diagonally backward-upward which is used during the standby period. The base 2 has a tilted opposed surface wall 6 opposed to the space in the bowl of the toilet bowl and retreated in the direction of the rear part of the toilet bowl from the forward upper end toward the forward lower end and a nozzle entrance 61 formed in the tilted opposed wall 6 and allowing the movable nozzle 3 to gain an access thereto. The movable nozzle 3 has an end surface 32 parallel to the tilted opposed wall 6. The end surface 32 is retreated to the generally same plane as the tilted opposed wall 6 at the retreated position.
