Abstract:
To make it possible to charge a capacitor even if a communication line with an ECU is failed in a bidirectional DCDC converter capable of charging from a high-voltage battery to a low-voltage battery and charging from the low-voltage battery to a capacitor on the high-voltage battery side.SOLUTION: A bidirectional DCDC converter includes: a power conversion unit; and a control unit that causes the power conversion unit to perform step-down operation or step-up operation according to a command input from an electronic control device via a communication line. The control unit determines, when an abnormality occurs in communication with the electronic control device, whether an execution condition of step-up control to charge a capacitor is established on the basis of voltage of the capacitor and a low-voltage battery, and performs step-down control or the step-up control according to the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
