Title:
BIDIRECTIONAL POWER CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013179803
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To discharge a residual charge after the completion of charge operation and regeneration operation.

A bidirectional power conversion device comprises: an insulation-type bidirectional DC-DC converter 40 for DC-DC converting a voltage between the terminals of a first capacitor C2 when DC-DC converting to a first direction, and for DC-DC converting a voltage between the terminals of a second capacitor C7 when DC-DC converting to a second direction; and a switch circuit 60 for short-circuiting or opening an electric connection between the second capacitor C7 and a battery 70. When the electric connection between the second capacitor C7 and the battery 70 is opened by the switch circuit 60, at least one of the charges in the first capacitor C2 and the second capacitor C7 is discharged by switching on/off bidirectional semiconductor switching elements S9-S20 included in the insulation-type bidirectional DC-DC converter 40.
