Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable bilge discharge promotion pipe for discharging bilge to a bilge well by using in an iron ore exclusive ship with a large loading amount of iron ore to the volume of a hold.SOLUTION: A bilge discharge promotion pipe includes a first portion 20, a second portion 30, and a third portion 40 connected in this order. The first portion is provided in a bottom unit stool 120 supporting a partition wall 130 sectioning a hold into a plurality of cargo holds. The second portion is connected to the first portion and includes a plurality of holes 38 provided vertically along the partition wall and communicating with a hollow portion on a side surface. The third portion is connected to the second portion and an end unit 44 provided on a top unit stool 140 supporting the partition wall on the opposite side as the end unit connected with the second portion reaches a top unit deck 110b. Here, a hole provided on the second portion is provided to a position at least higher than a top surface of the load from the first portion side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
