Abstract:
To reduce the momentum of foreign substances when the foreign substances slide down.SOLUTION: In a billing processing apparatus, a bill storage unit is provided, at its bottom, with a plurality of bill support parts that extend in the fore-and-aft direction of the apparatus and are arranged at an interval in a width direction orthogonal to the fore-and-aft direction of the apparatus, and foreign substance fall holes that are located on both sides in the width direction of the bill support parts and connected with a foreign substance ejection part. The size in the width direction of the foreign substance fall holes is larger than the diameter of coins with the maximum diameter assumed as foreign substances. The foreign substance ejection part has a bottom inclined from the rear toward the front of the apparatus, is configured to eject the foreign substances from a front end being an end on the front side of the apparatus, and has, on the front side of the apparatus, squeezed wall parts that are reduced in width toward the front end of the foreign substance ejection part. The distance between a front end of the squeezed wall part and a front end of the bill support part adjacent to the inside in the width direction when seen from the front end of the squeezed wall part, is smaller than the diameter of coins with the minimum diameter assumed as the foreign substances.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
