Abstract:

To provide a bill processing device for reducing a load to a driving device, and a money processing machine having such a bill processing device.

In this bill processing device, a carrier belt 22 is oppositely arranged in paralleled carrying surfaces to a main surface of a bill, and carries out the bill by rubbing the main surface of the bill pressed by a pressing means by the carrying surface made to travel in the carrying-out direction, and a separation roller 25 is oppositely arranged in a nesting shape to the carrying surface of the carrier belt 22, and separates the bill one by one by rubbing a reverse surface of the bill carried out by the carrier belt 22 in the inverse direction of the carrying-out direction by rotating or stopping. The load of the driving device for driving the carrier belt 22 can be reduced in such a carrying-out operation.
