Abstract:
To provide a gas burner type billet heating furnace wherein high speed heating corresponding to an electromagnetic induction type is ensured with a reduced installation space.
A nozzle 2, that mixes and sprays oxygen and fuel onto a wall surface of a furnace body 1 is disposed longitudinally of a billet 3, and an oxygen combustion burner 4 is provided for directly directing a flame to the billet.
