To provide a billiard assist allowing a player to enjoy the billiard without mastering a bridge, which requires a practice and proficiency, in the billiard.

The billiard assist is provided with: a body formed by machining a hard and thick foam material into a wall-type rectangular parallelepiped; a U-shaped groove extending downward from the upper face, at the center of the body and allowing a cue used for the billiard to pass through the front part of a shaft in a side face. The position of the bottom of the U-shaped groove is so formed that the tip end of the cue comes into contact with the center of a ball of the billiard when the front part of the shaft of the cue is placed in the groove; and a cloth for reducing frictional sound emitted when executing a stroke with the cue placed on the U-shaped groove is formed from the upper face of the body to the U-shaped groove.
