To provide a billing system capable of individually identifying a vehicle and performing the billing processing independently of a license plate of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A billing system includes: a reading device which is installed on a traffic lane and reads individual identification information capable of individually identifying a vehicle from an information medium attached to a vehicle body separately from a license plate of the vehicle traveling on the traffic lane; and a billing information acquisition part which acquires the billing information associated with the vehicle based on the individual identification information read from the information medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
