Title:
BIMODAL PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01278534
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject particles consisting of particles having respective specific number-average particle diameter and particle size distribution with a high separation or adsorption rate without causing short pass with hardly any pressure loss and suitable for chromatography, adsorbents, etc.

CONSTITUTION: Bimodal particles consisting of two kinds of monodisperse particles (A) and (B) having respective 10-1,000μm number-average particle diameter at 0.5/1-0.9/1 ratio of the number-average particle diameters of the monodisperse particles (A) to (B) and 1/9-9/1 ratio of the numbers of the monodisperse particles (A) to (B). Furthermore, the interior of the monodisperse particles is preferably a three-dimensional network structure.
