Abstract:

To provide a binary catalyst system suitable for producing a bimodal resin having at least one higher molecular weight part which has incorporation of comonomers more than incorporation of comonomers of a lower molecular weight part.

In this binary catalyst system, a first component of the catalyst system contains a catalyst of chemical formula 1 which comprises a IV-group transition metal compound having specified imine ligands and a second component of the catalyst system contains a catalyst of chemical formula 2.
