Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the part of dirt or contamination by making the part of a thin line adjacent to the part of a thick line, and further, the part of the thin line adjacent to it into black, and making other parts into white. CONSTITUTION:The output of a sensor is inputted to a first compafator 3 which decides it to be black when a picture signal exists in a greater part, and a second comparator 4 which decides it to be black even when the picture signal exists in a small part, and the outputs of them are stored in respectively in a first and a second picture memories 5, 6. A deciding means 7 performs successively such an operation that a black dot, located in the same position as the black dot stored in the first picture memory 5, among the black dots stored in the second picture memory 6, and the black dot in the adjacent position to it if any, are considered to be the black, and further if the black dot exists in the position adjacent to this dot, considered to be the black dot, it is considered to be the black dot, and other parts are outputted as the white.
