Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for brazing Al or Al alloy by adding a resin of a specified quantity containing oxirane group in which the oxirane group concentration in the dry condition is in a specified range to a methacrylic acid ester copolymer whose acid number in the dry condition is a specified value.
SOLUTION: A resin of 0.1-20 pts.wt. containing oxirane group in which the oxirane group concentration in the dry condition is 0.1-100 m mol/g is added to 100 pts.wt. methacrylic acid ester polymer whose acid number in the dry condition is 1-100. A resin containing 0.1-20 pts.wt. polyoxazoline in which oxazoline group concentration in the dry condition is 0.1-100 m mol/g, or isocyanate group in which NCO % is 1-50 in the dry condition, is added. A resin of 1-20 pts.wt. containing isocyanate group in which NCO % in the dry condition is 1-50 is preferably added to 100 pts.wt. methacrylic acid ester copolymer whose hydroxyl number in the dry condition is 1-100.
