Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the filling property of mix-kneaded sand in the gaseous carbon dioxide hardening process excellent in safety.
SOLUTION: Binder composition hardened with gaseous carbon dioxide containing 0.1-50 pts.wt. of one or more kinds of compd. selected from among b) aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbon, grease, aliphatic alcohol, fatty acid, aliphatic amine, and aliphatic amide based on 100 pts.wt. of a) water soluble phenol resin hardened with gaseous carbon dioxide, and mold composition hardened with gaseous carbon dioxide containing the above are provided.
