Abstract:
To provide a binder composition for mineral wool, comprising a (meth)acrylic resin having a carboxy group and a carboxylic acid dihydrazide compound, capable of imparting sufficient hardness to mineral wool under wider production conditions, with a cross-linking reaction in the binder composition suppressed.SOLUTION: A binder composition for mineral wool contains a (meth)acrylic resin having a carboxy group, a carboxylic acid dihydrazide compound having two hydrazino groups, a polyol having 4 to 12 hydroxy groups, and an aqueous medium.SELECTED DRAWING: None
