Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition for a pavement which is greatly modified by a small amount of a modifier, and contains the modifier uniformly dispersed in a binder to hardly cause its separation. SOLUTION: The binder composition for the pavement can be obtained by reacting 100 pts.mass mixture containing asphalt or heavy mineral oil and a petroleum resin with 0.5-10 pts.mass olefin/glycidyl methacrylate copolymer.
