Abstract:
To provide an aqueous binder based on a silane-modified polymer binder and an inorganic nanoparticles, a method of manufacturing the same, and the use thereof to manufacture a high quality coated material, particularly a transparent lacquer.
The aqueous copolymer modified with a specific kind of silane and combined with the inorganic nanoparticle is suitable to manufacture the coated material having remarkably improved scratch resistance with excellent brightness and very low haze (cloudiness).
