Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3872203
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fiber comprising a specific polylactic acid in a portion of the fiber surface and a polyester in other portions and giving a non-woven fabric suitable as a cushioning material or a substrate for automotive interiors, scarcely generating a permanent setting and not deteriorating an adhesive strength, even when used for a long period or under a high temperature atmosphere.
SOLUTION: This fiber comprises polylactic acid having a high optical purity, a melting point of ≥120°C, preferably ≥130°C, a fusion heat of ≥ 10 J/g, and preferably a melt flow value of 1-80 g/10 min, more preferably 5-50 g/10 min, in at least one portion of the fiber surface and a polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate in other portions.
