PURPOSE: A binder for fish or cattle meat paste products consisting mainly of fine powder of mustard with husks, and paste products having improved bond strength and flavor, without separation of meat juice.

CONSTITUTION: Grains of mustard seed with husks are finely pulverized to a particle size of 150W250 mesh. About 1W10% of the fine powder or a mixture of 1% or more, preferably 20% or more, of the powder with another binder is kneaded with fish meat or milled cattle meat.
