Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin composition for a toner for electrostatic charge image development that can provide a toner excellent in fixability to a PP film, a toner for electrostatic charge image development including the binder resin composition, a printing method using the same, and a printed matter obtained by the method.SOLUTION: There is provided (1) a binder resin composition for a toner for electrostatic charge image development that contains a polyester resin and polyolefin particles, where the polyolefin particle includes a polymer having an olefin polymer skeleton having 2 or more and 3 or less carbon atoms; a volume median particle diameter (D) of a small-particle diameter component obtained by measuring with a dynamic light scattering method by using a dispersion S of the small-particle diameter component obtained with a method 1 and a method 2 is 20 nm or more and 400 nm or less; the content ratio of a large-particle diameter component obtained with the method 2 is 0 mass% or more and 30 mass% or less based on the total amount of the large-particle diameter component and the small-particle diameter component; the content ratio of the small-particle diameter component is 70 mass% or more and 100 mass% or less based on the total amount of the large-particle diameter component and small-particle diameter component; the melting endothermic quantity of the small-particle diameter compound is 3 J/g or more and 10 J/g or less. Also provided are (2) a toner for electrostatic charge image development containing the binder resin composition for a toner for electrostatic charge image development described in the above (1) in an amount of 20 mass% or more and 100 mass% or less in a binder resin, and a mold release agent having a melting point of 60°C or more and 100°C or less in an amount of 1 pt.mass or more and 10 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the binder resin; (3) a printing method for printing on a plastic film with electrophotography by using the toner for electrostatic charge image development described in the above (2); and (4) a printed matter obtained with the method described in the above (3).SELECTED DRAWING: None
