PURPOSE: To provide the titled binder for plastic film, metallic foil, cellophane, etc., having excellent adhesivity, luster, crumpling resistance, etc., and consisting of a polyamide resin having a specific acid value and derived from a polyamine and an acid component composed of dimer acid, monocarboxylic acid, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective binder is prepared from a polyamide resin having an acid value of 20W250 and obtained by compounding (A) an acid component composed of (i) 50W95wt% of a dimer acid (e.g. dimer of oleic acid, etc.), (ii) 5W 50wt% of a monocarboxylic acid (e.g. acetic acid) and (iii) 0W29wt% of a trimer acid (the content of the dimer acid in the whole acid component is ≥50%) and (B) a polyamine component composed of a polyamine (e.g. ethylenediamine) at a weight ratio (A:B) of 1:(0.35W0.9).
