To provide an auxiliary device for use in easily binding some used papers or other easily collapsible materials staked up during their binding or some materials which are hardly moved.

Notches 1, 1a, 1b and 1c having hook function are arranged at each of lower end central portions of a front surface, a rear surface, a right surface and a left surface of a binding auxiliary device case. Recesses 2, 2a, 2b and 2c having hook function are arranged at upper end portions on straight lines crossed at a right angle. A rope is arranged while engaging with the hook functional portions 1,1a, 1b, 1c, 2, 2a, 2b and 2c. Then, as the newspapers are stacked up and full filled with them in the case, the rope turned around an upper end one side is brought up to the central part. The extremity end of the upper rope is brought into the lower side of the case. Next, all the ropes engaged with the hooks are removed, both ends of the rope are pulled up tight to bind the material content placed in the case.
