PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding auxiliary tool which can bind a paper product extremely easily, reliably, and tightly and can be used easily.SOLUTION: A binding auxiliary tool 2 has a plate 30 comprising a horizontal plate 31 and a vertical plate 32, and a pinching/pressing member 20. The horizontal plate 31 is a rectangular shape and has the vertical plate 32 substantially perpendicular to a bottom face 31a of the horizontal plate 31. A hole for attaching the pinching/pressing member 20 is formed on an opposing side of the vertical plate 32. The pinching/pressing member 20 is a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and a bottom face 20a of the pinching/pressing member is warped up toward a distal end direction. A projection for attaching the horizontal plate 31 is formed on the bottom face 20a, and the projection is hooked on the hole to be fixed. When binding, a string enters between the bottom face 20a and a horizontal plate top face 31b and is fixed by a friction force. A top face 20b of the pinching/pressing member 20 is warped down toward the distal end direction. The horizontal plate 31 is an elastic body. The vertical plate 32 is slidably fixed in a front-rear direction with respect to the horizontal plate 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
