To prevent a binding cord from easily dislocating from a processed object or a binding cord guide due to a movement of a press body which moves up and down during a binding operation of the processed object after compressing waste materials by a compression device.
In the compression device having a binding device for binding the compressed processed object, the binding device has the binding cord guide 22 for guiding the binding cord 21 for binding the compressed processed object is provided at an opposite side of a pulling-out port of a compression chamber along an inner wall surface, and the binding cord guide 22 is formed as a side-viewed triangle projection wherein its vertical surfaces are slant and a horizontal top side 22a formed by making the upper slant surface 22b and the lower slant surface 22b come in contact with each other is toward the compression chamber 4 inward direction. A cord passing hole 22d is formed to penetrate the vertical slant surfaces, and the binding cord 21 is vertically guided by the cord passing hole 22d.
