PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding device, installed at a position for discharging harvested and prepared agricultural products of a harvester for harvesting the agricultural products and capable of continuously and efficiently binding the agricultural products.
SOLUTION: This binding device 3 for a harvester is obtained by installing a bedplate 4 for receiving agricultural products discharged from the harvester in a prescribed direction, a front plate 5, standing on the front side of the bedplate 4 and opposite to the plant foot sides of the agricultural products, several front and rear side plates 7, stood on both left and right lateral parts of the bedplate 4 and having an arrangement interval 6 for binding strings 8 and the many binding strings 8, crossing the bedplate 4 and arranged in the arrangement interval 6 for the binding strings 8. The many binding strings 8 can vertically be superimposed in a state thereof held by binding string holders 9 provided in the arrangement interval 6 for the binding strings 8 and taken out from the binding string holders 9 one by one in the upward direction to bind the agricultural products. The binding string holders 9 can be moved in the front and rear directions in the arrangement interval 6 for the binding strings 8 to regulate the binding position of the agricultural products with the binding strings 8. A hole for admitting the binding strings 8 is formed in a position for crossing the binding strings 8 of the bedplate 4. The binding device 3 is laterally installed aslant at a prescribed angle with the agricultural products discharged in a state of facing a prescribed direction in a transverse posture.
