Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding device which enables binding processing by gluing sheets of paper of a paper bundle uniformly, reliably and accurately even when making binding processing with toner, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: The binding device has installation of a loading part 61 where a plurality of sheets of paper P with toner anchored on a region serving as a binding part is loaded as a paper bundle PT, pressurization means 62, 63, and 65-69 for applying pressure by clamping the binding part of the paper bundle PT loaded onto the loading part 61, and heating means 72 and 73 for heating the toner at the binding part remaining pressurized by the pressurization means 62, 63 and 65-69. Further, the pressurization means 62, 63 and 65-69 are formed to pressurize the binding part in a state that a plurality of irregularities remain formed in a direction of pressurization on the binding part.
